Ledare

We have a few rules, don't be daunted by the lengthy post you may see. Read on and you'll find it's a few rules elaborated on so you clearly know what you can and cannot do. Clarified to the best of my ability, for you. Including rules to abide by around the forum (This includes role play, as well as everywhere else) and a set of notes to ponder within role play.

Forum Rules

1. No vulgar language or inappropriate material.
This is not a site for you to practice your vocabulary in the swearing sense. I'm sure most of you don't say things like that in front of family, so don't say it here. We are a family here, treat us like so. There may be younger members here, and they don't need to be exposed to inappropriate images or material. Swearing on any kind, and any graphic/slandering/sensitive material will be removed. This includes porn, gore, or any racism, sexism, etc. Ledares may remove language/warn you about language if we see anything we deem unfit for this website. We also don't tolerate religion, not that it's bad but someone may not have the same look on things, and it can be a touchy subject.

2. Don't SPAM our website.
SPAM is any unnecessary, off topic, double posting, anything like that. Something that doesn't belong. So don't double post, instead edit your posts if you need to add something. Stay on topic, don't post about unicorns in a topic about Jurassic Park. Keep your posts with three or more words, anything less is deemed unnecessary.

3. We aren't an advertising forum.
This means we would like for you not to discuss anything about other packs. Don't tell someone to go to another pack forum, that you sent them a message on another forum, or anything that is happening. This applies unless it directly affects us. I also don't like people PMing about it either, though I can't control that. So be responsible and don't do it. I will not tolerate PM advertisements though, such as asking someone to join a pack via this forum. I ask anyone who receives one of these PM's report it to me.

4. Keep personal information to a minimum.
I am not preventing you from giving personal information, but don't give out anymore than you think is safe. I advise you not to give addresses, phone numbers, anything like that. Just remember, it's your information so give out what you want. It's your risk, just remember it is a risk.

5. Respect others.
If any argument or dispute surfaces, handle it in a mature manner. Don't throw back insult upon insult across the chat, broadcasting your poor choice of antagonizing and fueling the fight by solving it in such a way. If you must, PM each other. I or any other leader is more than welcoming to solve problems, so PM us. I know not everyone will like everyone, you don't have to like everyone here. Just be civil around others.

Role Play Rules

1. No God modding or power playing.
This is probably the most important rule to role play, it helps maintain fairness and peace. You are your character, that's it. This includes controlling anything more than your character, maybe an OC character for a few posts, but no other animal can be controlled for a lengthy amount of time.

"God Modding" is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. An example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.

-It can be killing or injuring a character without the player's express permission.
-It can be when they simply can’t be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them.
-It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as Legolas, then you cannot have Legolas say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission. Basically, no using other people's characters.

Power playing occurs in roleplaying when you control someone else's character, as well as your own, without the other person's permission.

2. Let's keep role play well-fed.
What I mean by this is don't starve the role play with short, unnecessary posts. I would like a 2/3 sentence minimum. 3 sentences isn't a lot, so please stick to this rule. I will be rather loose with making sure this rule is followed, since it's hard to enforce but be trustworthy and follow it to the best of your ability. There's no limit on posts, so want to write a novel for a post, go ahead.

3. No crazy sadistic murderers please. Especially for ranks.
We don't allow fighting for ranks here, you can ask for any rank you want. Some role-players are on different levels, and it would prove to have an unfair advantage over some. The only time you can challenge for a rank is on some special occasion like a plot. Fighting in general is allowed, but you can't seriously harm or kill a character without permission from the character's owner. We also don't want fighting non-stop, so don't get into a fight every day.

4. Mates and puppies.
We allow mates here, but you have to ask one of the Leaders for permission first. This includes a PM, not chat box. You must ask your future mate to be your mate in role play, and thereafter seek out a leader to have a short ceremony take place. This is to keep order, and for anyone who is reading archives to be able to understand. We also allow pups. You must have a mate inside the pack and you both must agree to having pups. If you're a Leader you can have up to 4 pups; A subordinate can have 2. Pups have to be role played by someone other than yourself a month after birth or the pup(s) have to die.
