Splugen Pass EuropeTrip2009-224

The Splugen Pass, along with the Rhine, separates the two sides of the Swiss alps. There is a winding road along the pass, but otherwise it's open plains and hills.
Predators frequent the area, as well as prey and humans combined. The pass is very busy with life.

The smouldering male was slightly surprised when he reached his destination, to see that Boomtown was not already here. Though this was not entirely unexpected since she did probably take a detour along the way.

Jabberwocky rested back onto his haunches as he waited patiently, his tentative gaze skimming the distant horizon for the small grey and white female.

Boomtown had arrived in the pass hours before, but was too preoccupied to relocate herself to it's heart. The winding road had stolen all of her attention, and the hyperactive female spent her time racing up and down the slope. Boom had successfully made herself dizzy curving an swerving so much, but she didn't take any notice until she finally began to slow down.
"Whoa.." She mumbled, digging her claws into the soft topsoil in order to ground herself. The grey and white wolf swayed back and forth, dangerously close to toppling over, when she spotted Jabberwocky sitting nearby. "Hey!" She barked, not yet holding a stomach for walking, the nausea was only barely dying off.

He lazily swung his cranium in the direction of her voice splicing through the silent air. Pointed ears reaching for the sky as he did so. Upon seeing Boomtown; Jabberwocky ever so slowly, rocked forward into a standing position, his ligaments and muscles pulled taut as he did so.

The grey furred male, took a few wide strides towards her and stopped at least 2ft away from her body. Standing in his normal regal position, body squared with legs lined up and head high, ears pointed upwards. "Hello."

Boomtown finally got over her bout of dizziness and straightened up. "This road is cool" She beamed, her tail wagging back and forth steadily. The rocky terrain around them was to be noted, for a fall from the peaks above would mean certain death. At the hands of sharp rocks littering the ground here. When she finally turned to face Jabberwocky she smacked him in the face lightly with her front right paw, before dashing off.
Instead of following the road she charged straight up the slope and made her way to the small peak overlooking the area. She sat down under the single tree that dotted the area. To her right the road curved down the mountainside, separated by a steep cliff from where she was. On her left, the mountain steadily veered downward, not quite a cliff.

He had secretly dozed off in his mind while glancing around the landscape; but was brought back when Boomtown swiped a playful paw across his muzzle. Jabberwocky hazily blinking the dreamland to the back of his head, in time to see the female take off in a sprint. Though choosing to go the awkward way instead of the path.

He being a less playful wolf; just followed her up the steep land with tentative steps. Carefully planning the placement of each foot.
