First topic message reminder :

Vienna Woods - Page 7 Wienerwald

A single road cuts through the thick woods, with little humans traveling it. The woods are human free, one of the safest place for wolves in the territory. But, with less humans means more other predators. Bears and Lynx's frequent the area, along with an abundance of prey.
Stay deep in the woods, higher elevations and you should be fine. The place is void of anything but trees and other animals. The forest isn't under any threat of being deforested, and will likely stay that way.
The packs den is nestled in these woods, a secluded clearing with a large den and the place for additional dens if someone so wants to make themself one.

He nudged shoulder; now sat closer to the three lone wolves. Eyes causally skimming over the wolves. "Why do you want to join ?" Jabberwocky piped up; it seemed a logical question.

Mortal woke up and trotted over, coming along Jabber side- not close to him but in that general way- yawning as she did she stopped and looked at the group of loners.

Hearing that no one else had spoke, he decided to speak up first. "I would like to join as I've been a loner for a while, and I would like to find a stable pack to stay with. This pack seems to be going quite successful already." He said, remaining sat down

Deimos met the eyes of the three wolves for a brief moment. It appeared no-one
else would speak up, so he would have to. He also shot quick glances at the other
loners surrounding him, a strange spectrum of odours mingling. A curious thing,
all other wolves had a story. If he were to have success in joining the pack, he'd be
sure to ask. Now, however, was not yet the time. His gaze fell upon the yearling
"First things first. My name is Deimos Oumil" the male nodded, penetrating the
silence "As for these people, I'm not affiliated with them in any way what-so-ever"
his pupils shot once again at the loners, quickly analysing their appearance
"Anyways, I have faith that I will be accepted into this pack. In all honesty, it has been a
long while since I've been with a pack and I'd enjoy to be in a pack once again."

Vienna Woods - Page 7 Senach

Senach moved silently, each paw was placed with carefully practiced precision. At one point, this precision had demanded attention, purpose, thought. Now it was second nature, the stealth of his movements was as comfortable and natural to him as anything else. His ears flicked slightly, picking up the distinct sounds of the trees. The high branches rubbed against each other, creaking at the slightest breeze. The tight leaves of the laurel bushes rustled in the trail of some small rodent. The very air smelt of pine and the sweet dampness of long-gone rain. Each of these scents and sounds, Senach drank in. They narrated a world, weaving its reality tightly around his conscious mind. A small smile flitted over his lips. Even his smile seemed to hide some delicious secret, rigorously guarded and well-prized.

Senach paused in his movements. It had been many long minutes since he had loped across the scent border, never bothering to pause. It had been his sole purpose to seek company, and playing the part of the humble stranger had never been in his blood. Of course, neither was he disrespectful. He preferred to view himself as proactive. It was a much kinder term. Senach paused now as distant voices floated to his ears. One sounded feminine, the other was too soft to make out much more than its mere existence. Senach bent his head, his ears pressing back against his skull. He moved forward with more care now. To simply burst into this pack's mist would be foolish. It was better if he arrive in the silence of purpose.

Senach's amber eyes were calm, though their depths glinted with a sort of sordid amusement one could only guess at. The voices were becoming louder now, more distinguished. Senach couldn't tell for certain how many there were, but it seemed to be enough of the majority for him to make an entrance. He lingered on the outskirts, still hidden in the depths of the shadows of the towering sycamores. He lingered for only a moment before slipping silently into the open. He glanced around himself, looking each wolf up and down. He sat, still at the very edge of the trees. His tail curled neatly around his paws as he awaited the confrontation that was sure to come.

Boomtown jerked back to planet earth after her mind wandered to far off places. She was startled to see even more new wolves. "Well, I'd like to know your names at the least." She said, a very faint hint of authority lining her childish voice. "Since you all seem friendly and intent on no harm, if you wish you are welcomed into the pack. Otherwise, please leave. I don't want to sick Taman on you, he isn't very friendly" She added, blinking at the group after she finished speaking.

Senach

Vienna Woods - Page 7 Senach

Senach sat in silence, observing the commotion all around him. A large silent male was beginning to slink away after making some quiet reply Senach hadn't had enough interest in to listen to. A female with a high-pitched pup's voice was attempting to take control of the situation, but only partially succeeding. The pitch of her voice and the youth in her face would work against her. It would be something entertaining for Senach to observe. He found his gaze trained on this female who had not mentioned her name, but gave orders like a dominant. His ears twitched as he peered at her, with neither hostility nor particular interest. It was more of an analytic gaze. Every emotion and thought was guarded behind well-trained eyes. If she held the position she appeared to assert, it would be crucial for Senach to learn more about her - and decide whether she was a leader worth devoting himself to. He was loathe to admit that at the moment, she didn't quite give the image of authority he had expected in a dominant.

Senach raised a brow at her words. There would be no questions? No preliminary stage of suspicion? How did she expect to ascertain their worth? Her words were entirely unexpected, enough to cause Senach his small raised brow. He still made no move to speak, preferring to gather as much information before making any move that could prove to be foolish. She had requested his name, nothing more. This suited Senach just fine. He had no particular desire to reveal more than his name unless absolutely necessary. The thought that plagued Senach was this female's statement that they seemed "friendly and intent on no harm". It was quite impossible for her to know that, especially when one was an experienced liar. Senach's skepticism grew by the minute. He was perfectly capable of causing serious harm. He was a full grown male, not particularly large but strong enough. How could this female feel safe in the presence of such a stranger?

He shifted his paws slightly, deep in thought and still silent. He could stay, if he so wished. He was being given the choice. It would be all too easy to stay, but the question of leadership bothered him. The female had referenced a male named Taman, who was either a proficiently strong or possible the dominant male. Senach shifted again, his gaze still lingering on this speaking female. The authority in her voice was faint, but perhaps it needed nurturing. Senach parted his lips, speaking without moving from his place. "Senach." He dipped his head and said no more. It was exactly as she had required, and Senach would give no more unless necessary. He glanced towards the trees. By speaking his name, he had accepted their offer. That made these woods his territory, as much as theirs. He was free to wander, but preferred to say if only to observe.

Boomtown looked at the male (Senach) quizzically, he was analyzing her intensely it seemed. Hi gaze unsettled the wolf, and she found herself standing up and fidgeting slightly. What kept her rooted to the ground was the knowledge that this was her pack, this random stranger didn't have a pack by his side, a territory to turn to. Boomtown had all these things, and another leader to help her out. Taman wouldn't let anyone get away with ill will, he'd notice if something was up.
"Well, I'm Boomtown, and Taman is the other leader around here. Mortal and Jabberwocky are the Radgivars. We are who you should come to in search of answers to your questions." She said, her voice very blunt. She could be authoritative when needed, though she always had that childish air about her regardless. "I assume you don't intend on causing any harm to anyone here, but if you prove me wrong, then we'll take that path then."

Mortal nodded her head, and backed up before going off. She just wanted to go for a peaceful walk, without anyone or anything bugging her. She trotted off towards the trail; that trail.. had some interest into her. She jumped off the hillish incline from where the path was and begun to venture it again.

Vienna Woods - Page 7 Senach

Senach could almost feel the exact moment that the female's attention focused on him. It was the moment in which his quiet guarded gaze became noticed, and the moment in which it began to prickle at her skin. This prickling which she undoubtedly felt was unintentional, and Senach took no joy from the female's discomfort. But he could no more change his nature than fire could refused to burn. She had finally turned her gaze to him, where it rested solely on him. The attention felt good. It was a delicious feeling to be noticed again after having spent so long alone. Memories of the chill of ice and snow crept up Senach's spine, though he obstinately pushed them away. His memories were his own to dwell on, and to reject. Senach forced himself to remain still, despite his urge to shift his position. He was an intellectual, beyond such base instincts. At least that was what he insisted to himself, despite how ruled by his emotions he sometimes felt.

Her gaze on him was quizzical, the questions in her eyes brimming over. This too Senach found interesting. He preferred to keep his questions out of his eyes, though few chose to do so - as this female obviously did. There was something about her gaze, a sort of innocence - the innocence of youth. She seemed so corruptible, simply because she had not yet been. Senach was not the type to corrupt her or even wish to see her corruption. He was simply making observations as he so often did. She was beginning to fidget under his gaze, which he noticed with a pang of something he couldn't quite name. It wasn't strong enough to be guilt or pity, but a weaker cousin of the two. He enjoyed his analysis, but took no particular enjoyment in the discomfort he caused. He finally moved his gaze away, giving the young female a respite. The female was speaking now, introducing herself as Boomtown. Senach raised his brow again, but made no move yet to speak. He had to confess that such a name was strange to him, as it was unlike any he had ever encountered.

The information that she gave following this tidbit was entirely unsurprising. Senach had guessed as much. She spoke bluntly. She gave out many names, none of which he could as of yet match to faces. But he nodded serenely, looking at her as was respectful but in a way that he hoped would not make her uncomfortable. Jabberwocky was another strange name that Senach would enjoy rolling on his tongue. He didn't miss the quiet threat of her words. And he had no doubt that she would see to confronting any ill-will he showed. She was adding complexities to her already intriguing character. Senach dipped his head again once it seemed she would speak no more. "I harbor no malicious intentions towards you." He finally stood with the fluidity of silence. The barest hint of a smile flickered across his lips as he moved towards the trees once more.

Boomtown waited, noticing the male was lost in thought. When he spoke, she understood t well enough, though her vocabulary wasn't something to be proud of, she had the mouth of a pup, she understood some but not all. Boom has learned the amazing skill of context, so she understand almost everything regardless if it's a new word.
She just deployed a nod as he retreated. Now came the problem that none of the other loners had replied to her.

He was laid far from the small group of wolves, though obviously he was close enough to keep an eye upon Boomtown. Paranoid about the young female, being pretty much alone with the small collection.

Since none of the others loners had bothered to reply to Boomtown, she grew bored waiting. "Fine, I'll be going on an exploration to better see the territory. When I return I want you all gone or ready to give me a compliant answer." She huffed. You'd call it a temper with a pup but Boomtown was nearly grown so it was just a short fuse. After her outburst she turned and padded away, searching out for Jabberwocky so they could go on the exploration she spoke of days ago. "Jabberwockkyyy" She barked, the note trailing into a short howl/yip.

Perking his pointed ears at the sound of his name; Jabberwocky raised from his resting place. Stretching his legs and back to the point where the cracked as the fluid seeped between his joints.

Eyes aflame falling on the grey and white female; Boomtown who was the one to call out his name. The young male barked in her direction, slowly shifting his weight forward to take a step. "Yes?"

Boomtown trotted along, weaving in and out of trees. When Jabberwocky's reply came she veered to her right, following the sound. She ended up seeing him before she reached him, and instead of continuing towards him she barked for him to follow and turned around. "Come on, I'm really bored and have nothing to do. You were up for an exploration the other day, so why not now?" She said over her shoulder, her tongue hanging loosely out of her jaw.
Smiling happily, she was full of energy, Boomtown bolted. She sprung foward with each step, over bushes and tree limbs and logs. After being forced into seriousness she wanted to just be free and be herself. Without the prying eyes of wary loners. She was headed for the Splugen pass, not slowing down for Jabberwocky.

He heard the bark for the adventurous exploration of the surrounding territory. A small sigh escaping through parted jaws; his burning eyes narrowing slightly as she took off in a sprint.
