Vienna Woods

A single road cuts through the thick woods, with little humans traveling it. The woods are human free, one of the safest place for wolves in the territory. But, with less humans means more other predators. Bears and Lynx's frequent the area, along with an abundance of prey.
Stay deep in the woods, higher elevations and you should be fine. The place is void of anything but trees and other animals. The forest isn't under any threat of being deforested, and will likely stay that way.
The packs den is nestled in these woods, a secluded clearing with a large den and the place for additional dens if someone so wants to make themself one.

Mortal snorted, and escaped the group as soon at Alda and Jabber were off in there own conversation. Bolting quietly towards the road, once she found it she traveled it quietly, with curiosity to where this would lead her and what she'd encounter.

Boomtown yawned, waking up from a little catnap. She stretched her forelimbs out in front of her before scrambling to her feet. Now jittery with energy Boom looked around, Tam was lazing about and Jabber and Alda were arguing. Mortal was no where to be seen.
With a distasteful grunt Boom set off in search of something to do.

Mortal remained quiet, listening to the forest around her. Yawning slightly, her eyes traveled through the forest. Hearing a scurrying noise she turned her head and stared, growling.

Boom trotted along, she heard a rustling in the trees ahead. Curiously she bounded over, aiming to leap over the log in front of her. Now she knew what the sound was, the thumping of hundreds of hooves pounding on the ground. Reindeer most likely. Not at all phased she continued to run towards the log, not realizing how close the stampeding herd was. She leaped over the log, but her back paw got caught in some tangles of vines on the other side. Tumbling head over heels into the middle of the Reindeer's path Boomtown froze. They were frighteningly close. Not having the time to run she barked loudly before huddling into a hollow ditch in the ground, hoping they'd see her and go around the poor wolf.

Through Mortal's silence she just heard the faint barks, perking up and turning bolting off to the bark whom belonged to Boomtown she hurried through the forest, dodging the fallen branch before she slid to a haul. Seeing Boom stuck in the middle of a stamped scared her, quickly working out her plan in her mind she quickly tried to act. Stopping quickly, she realized it was not safe, but she was going to risk it.

Bolting out, she used her smaller frame for harmful reasons. As soon as a reindeer ran towards her she lunged forward as she laid down beside Boom. "Boom! Don't move." she pleaded, last time she was in one of these she was badly injured. Wrapping her teeth around Boom's nape, she tried to see but badly enough her blind eye was towards the stamped. The sound of hooves filled her ears, as a flashback hit her. She shook her head before it could start, a hoof nearly hitting her head. She ducked, and grabbed Boom's scruff tigher before she waited before jumping to avoid any hooves.

Boomtown didn't plan on moving, so she listened to Mortal. Her eyes were shit tight, and her ears flat on her head. When she was dragged out a sharp hoof barely missed her side, but it did graze her back but no damage was done. A bruise would form, but under fur it wouldn't be noticeable.
Panting heavily from fright Boom sat up, the last of the reindeer scurrying away. After the dust cleared she was jolted upright by the roar of none other than the notorious grizzly that hung around. She had seen it terrorizing animals around before, and could distinguish it from other bears because one of it's eyes were missing. She found herself gaping in fear yet again, the bear only just noticing the wolves being there.

Mortal's heart thumped away, "Boom are you alright?" she looked over her niece with panic. A loud roar interrupted her panic as she turned around, growling. Looking at the bear she bared her fangs, "Boom.. go hide or help me fight..." she mumbled, "i'd prefer you go hide.." she stated.

The massive bear roared loudly, standing on two strong hind legs. He swung his wide paws against the air, narrowly missing the last reindeer as it sped past his bulk. He fell to all fours, breaking into a choppy run as he chased after the herd. He kept roaring loudly, baring his huge teeth to the world. As he ran he caught site of two light shapes, on his side without the eye but he caught it just barely out of his one eye. He stopped running and glared at the figures, finally turning so he could clearly see two wolves cowering.

Boom blinked, still frozen stiff in fear. "Uhm.. Mr.Bear. We were just playing around, your deer went that way. We don't taste very good and.." She said, her voice trembling terribly. She only vaguely heard Mortal so she didn't move. She wasn't a fighter so she wouldn't do that either. She couldn't do anything, the adrenaline was pumping in her veins so much it anchored her in place. Like thrill sitting on you like a metal anvil.

Mortal snorted when the bear turned towards us, her heart thumping away in her chest. "Boom..the bear can't understand you.." she said and shook her head, nudging Boom behind her. Mortal sat down in front of her, "Running will give the bear something to chase us for. stay still, or we're dead.. ill work out a plan." she said.

The bear swung it's head, looking back at the heard. The last few tails bobbing out of sight. He heard the wolves barking, and took it as a threat so he rose to his hind legs and began to make his way over, jaws parted. With each step you could hear limbs and plant matter being crushed to nothing.

Mortal had to step up now, she turned and attempted to shoved Boom down into the bush as she took her chance and ran away from her, she barked loudly at the bear. Trotting up she pushed her shoulder against his hind leg, and made an attempt to escape.

Boom felt her legs knocking together dully as she began to shake. She would feel bad running to leave Mortal, but she didn't wanna get hurt either. She sat there having a heart attack/panic attack/stroke until she was sitting in a puddle. /lolpeeyerpants/ She shuffled sideways, never losing sight of the bear who was approaching. Boom was fast, really fast, but she didn't know about Mortal. Boom knew she could outrun the bear, if she got a good head start. But before she got the chance she felt herself being pushed backwards into a bush.

The bear stumbled, caught off guard by the wolf running into his leg. Angered even more so than before he swung his massive front arm in a hook motion, intending to toss the little wolf into the air by scooping it up with his large paw.

"Run Boom, go and get back to the others!" she barked, as the bears claw scooped down and hit her shoulder blade. Mortal stumbled as she stood up from her hit, the pain was greater then anything. Pushing it away she barked at the bear, trying to win it's attention. She lunged forward and tried to hurry under it's legs to get it to turn away from where Boomtown was.
